The brief
Turn an open new-build garden with panel fencing into a private, sheltered place to sit outside.
What we built
We laid a new patio, fixed horizontal slatted screening over the existing fences and garden wall, then built a timber pergola over the patio and finished it in black, so it frames the seating area against the natural timber screens.
